    LOOK OUT FOR HELLER EMAILS

Starting in March, you will begin to receive communications about setting up your Brandeis email, health insurance, finding housing, and more. In order to create your Brandeis email account, you must first pay your deposit.

    PREPARE TO ENROLL

Consult our Pre-Enrollment checklist for next steps, including housing, University Health Insurance, applying for student loans, submitting transcripts, and more.

    SUBMIT YOUR DEPOSIT

You can find your deposit amount and the due date in your offer of admission on your status page. The deposit is credited towards first-semester tuition and secures your place in the class.

COMPLETE VISA INFORMATION & DECLARATION OF FINANCE (VIDOF) FORM

International students must complete the VIDOF Form in order to receive their I-20 or DS-2019. In order to access your VIDOF Form, you must first pay your deposit and create your Brandeis Email account.

    SEND TRANSCRIPTS

Official transcripts are only required after you pay your deposit. Official Transcript criteria can be found here. If you applied with unofficial transcripts, contact your previous institutions about sending your official transcripts.

    MARK YOUR CALENDARS

Classes begin at the end of August. Orientation will begin a few days prior. International students should arrive in the US at least two weeks before (but no more than 30 days before your program start date).

    FIND HOUSING

Brandeis' Office of Graduate Affairs maintains a list of resources for incoming students looking for housing and roommates.

    JOIN THE SUMMER INSTITUTE

The Summer Institute is an online platform built by Heller faculty for incoming students to meet, prepare for courses, and share support resources. In order to access the Summer Institute, you must first pay your deposit.
